CAB SCREENS CRESCENT YAMAHA: REVO ACU BRITISH CHAMPIONSHIP FINALE
Harri Kullas came to the final round of the Michelin MX Nationals Pro MX1 championship in a buoyant mood, after a very successful run at the American Pro Motocross series in August.
Harri qualified 7th fastest and then blasted his Yamaha YZ450F off the start for a clear holeshot in race one. However, his lead was short lived as a small mistake on lap one, allowed the Honda’s of Mewse and Gilbert past, and Harri rode out the remainder of the race in a clear 3rd place.
In race two Harri’s start wasn’t as good, but he did get as high as 3rd before a fading clutch meant he had to nurse the bike home for 5th place.
Harri Kullas - “Good to finish the season on a high. Started with a win and ended with one so I’m happy. I really enjoyed the track, and it was especially good after the rain. It had loads of grip and some good lines. I had good pace from qualifying where I was 2nd, my best of the season.
Ran a bit wide on the first corner of race one and Josh came past, then the rain came, and I made the pass to win.
2nd race I had the holeshot and then Conrad came past on the wave section, and I pushed to stay with him, and tried to pass a few times but he then pulled a gap. I came back towards the end but was happy with 2nd place as that gave me the overall win.

Jamie Carpenter came into the final round of the Revo ACU British Motocross Series lying in ninth position in the standings, as we headed to Monster Mountain in South Wales.
Jamie set the 8th fastest time in qualifying and then started on the edge of the top ten in race one, moving to 9th place early on and then putting in a solid performance as heavy rain came down, making up one more place to late on. Jamie wasn’t quite able to close on the group of 3 riders in front of him to make any more positions.
In race two, Jamie had a similar start and a similar race, moving up and making passes, importantly passing Brad Todd mid race which pushed him another place up the standings. Jamie came home in 7th for 8th overall.

Sam Nunn was looking to turn good speed of late into good results, at the last round of the Revo ACU British Motocross Championship.
Sam had a good start inside the top 10, getting to 6th place early on. Sam was putting in a solid ride but didn’t seem to be closing the gap in Ben Mustoe and Billy Askew in front, until the last 4 or 5 laps when Sam dropped his lap times by an incredible 3 seconds, passing Mustoe for 5th with three laps to go, then a last lap pass on Billy Askew moved him to a fantastic 4th place.
Sam didn’t start so well in race one, and was in 12th place early on, before moving to 9th and claiming a fantastic 5th overall.
